Mary Ann Ivan Mary Ann Ivan is Composer, Musical Director, pianist, arranger, and Educator with over 25 years of experience. On Broadway she played in the pit of The Who’s Tommy, The King & I, Jekyll & Hyde, and Jersey Boys, as well as National Tours of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and My Fair Lady. As an International Theatre Arts Educator, Mary Ann has been sponsored by the U.S. State Department and the Norwegian Embassy. She has conducted several overseas projects, including at Gündogdu Kolegi, Baskent University, American Academy in Tarsus (all in Turkey, from 2007-2011), The International School in Kampala, Uganda (2013), and most recently the Leipzig International School in Leipzig, Germany (Feb. 2019). She began composing at age 15, and has written collectively over 600 songs, orchestral pieces, ensemble works, and 13 musicals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with a specialization in Music Therapy/Psych Minor from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. A 22-year member of the award-winning Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV), Kate sings with BIV at many events each year, works with BIV’s outreach programs at Covenant House and The Ronald McDonald House, and is a contributing writer for the organization. Kate holds a Bachelor of Music Education (Boston University), a Master of Arts in Health Arts and Sciences (Goddard College), and is a respected health and life coach. Kennedy was also a guest star in ABC's primetime show "Body of Proof". Kennedy is the executive director for Colorado Arts and Artists.
